form follows feed

Our short film Form Follows Feed casts a critical eye on the way social media has taken over our perception of space and architecture. Where architecture was once designed for people to live in, to stay in, and to experience, today it is increasingly created for the photo. Spaces are built as a backdrop for a post that proves you've been somewhere. The inhabitant is no longer a user.
What circulates on social media determines which forms succeed, which spaces get built, and ultimately how we as a society learn to see. Algorithms are the new architects. Our film begins with a sharp space — the perfect angle, the harsh light, the color that pops on a screen — and draws the viewer step by step toward what lies behind it: the emptiness and the repetition.
We made the film by converting photos of selfie studio booths into objects through ChatGPT, which we then kept pushing further in Krea AI until the spaces lost their recognizability and blurred into abstract blobs. The sharper, more structured spaces we created by folding in Blender. Two movements that together pose one question: what remains of a space once you've run it through an algorithm long enough?
