Maison Bordeaux-Le Pecq

In collaboration with Eva-Luz Bettens and Sarah Willems, I analysed the project Maison Bordeaux-Le Pecq by the French architect Claude Parent.

Central to our study was the concept of the "fonction oblique", which we investigated through Parent's theoretical texts, related projects, and the influence of his collaboration with Paul Virilio.

We delved into the bunker theory, the relationship between natural forms and architecture, and examined how material use and light entry contribute to the unique experience of this house. Additionally, we studied Parent's design language and his vision of movement, orientation, and imbalance in space.

As a final result of this research, we built a scale model of the house and presented our findings on A0 analysis panels, where theoretical insights and visual observations come together.
